Valamar Pinia Hotel - Porec

The Valamar Pinia Hotel provided us with a fantastic value for money stay. The location was unbeatable, as it was just a short walk from the beautiful beach. We were also pleasantly surprised by the excellent service provided by the staff, who were attentive and friendly throughout our stay. The basic amenities in the rooms were sufficient for our needs, and we appreciated the fact that breakfast came with free drinks.

All aspects of our stay were more than satisfactory.

The hotel was close to Spadici. Even the Pula airport was not so far. Materada neighborhood was worth exploring.

The buffet was delicious, but the prices of the regular beverages are pricey,

The hotel is located near the beach, just about 100 meters away, making it convenient to enjoy the seaside. The availability of pool chairs may sometimes be a problem, as guests mentioned that despite signs prohibiting reserving chairs, they were frequently occupied by towels even when not in use.

The hotel is more suitable for families with children. The hotel and room is very clean. Staff is good and especially food is good. Salt water pool is ok for me.

Internet is only in the lobby of the hotel and it is also problematic.

I was excited about the possibility of being able to rent bicikles for free. However, this was not possible on Saturday, the only day that we would have been able to use the bicicle. Nagyon örültünk, hogy biciklit lehet ingyen kölcsönözni. Sajnos ez szombaton nem volt elérhető, pedig ez volt az egyetlen nap, amikor tudtunk volna biciklizni. Ezt nagyon sajnáltuk. (a biciklikhez egyébként volt kulcsa a recepciónak--1-es faépület-- de nem adtak használatra) Ez volt az egyetlen amit nagyon sajnáltunk.

the location of the hotel is excellent as it is close to both the beach and the sea. It's just a short walk of about 100 meters to reach the beautiful shoreline. This proximity to the sea made it really convenient for me to spend my days relaxing on the sand or swimming in the clear blue waters. Secondly, the service provided by the staff was top-notch. They were all very kind, helpful, and always had a smile on their faces. Whenever I needed assistance or had a question, they were readily available and eager to help. Lastly, the breakfast at the hotel was fantastic. It included free drinks, which was a nice bonus. The variety of food options available was impressive, ensuring that everyone's tastes and preferences were catered for. The overall value for money at this hotel was great, considering the reasonable prices and the attention to detail in both the amenities and the rooms. I stayed with my two teenage children, and we all had a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

I found everything at this hotel to be absolutely ok.

Really nice staff, clean room, really nice pool area, one of the best dinners and breakfasts considering two weeks in Italy and Croatia. Within walking distance to the city (which was nice). International sports tv.

Personal at reception a bit sharp. Apartments quite basic, not "superior" as advertised. Having to pay for sunbed at the beach. Expensive for what it is.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Close to the sea, only 100m away, it was easy to access the beautiful beach. The staff were friendly and always willing to help with a smile. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a fantastic pool and plenty of sunbeds to relax on. the location was ideal, with nearby bars and restaurants for convenience. The breakfast provided was delicious, offering a wide variety of options to suit everyone's tastes.

Didn't dislike anything about the hotel.

The staff was fine, able to speak english, german and italian w/o problems. The place is also good, close to the sea - about 100m, but there is direct beach access from the hotel missing and you must cross the road from the hotel. The cleaning was done daily and quite properly.

Yes, I would say more, than I expected:-). 1. "Light inclusive" means additional fees for wellness center, for sunbeds and unbrellas and for drinks except the time defined for the breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is really not very comfortable to take some money every, where I was moving inside the area of "light inclusive" hotel 2. The room was on the basement with the view to the kitchen building, with noisy kitchen ventilation. On the other hand, I was attended by the staff on the arrival, there is no other room available. Anyway, it does not correspond for the price. 3. The food in the restaurant w/o the taste, too oily. On the request to get the 100% orange juice on the breakfast, I was told, that this should be paid extraordinary, which I approved, but it was 5min after the breakfast time, what was the reason, why they could not make it for me, even I wanted to pay for it. The explanation was, that their system is locked and they are unable to make a bill for it:-) In my opinion, the price is not adequate for the level of hotel facilities and the service provided. I will never return to this hotel and can not recommend it.

We liked very much our stay at Pinia. Great pool with sea water. The staff was very friendly. The food was excellent (a lot of sea food). I loved the aqua gym :) The cleaning was done daily and quite properly.

Ice coffee would be nice for bar offers. Refrigerator would increase the comfort in rooms. You can use the pool until 7.00 pm, we would have liked to use it in the evening too.

The breakfast was okay, with a few choices of food to choose from. the hotel is located near a beach which is convenient for people who want to swim. One of the staff was helpful and answered our questions.

Spending my Christmas at this hotel was a disaster. the TV in the room was not working properly, the room was not properly heated, and the dining room food was not to my liking.

Location is excellent. Practically on sea beach, 20 minutes walk to Porec. Free perking. Breakfast and dinner are quite good, but we were surprised that we should extra paid for water and juice.

The wi-fi did not functioning during all weekend, which is a little bit frustrated. We specially choose this hotel with internet connection.
